Requiem K.626
A Grand Opening of the Ama Deus Ensemble and the Kimmel Center-Friday night series, this exciting evening would make even Mozart jealous that he is not personally able to be part of it! In Vienna, he would play the Flute Concerto, sit down at the fortepiano and dazzle his noble audiences, and then step up on the podium and conduct his singers and orchestra to roaring applause. Maestro Radu will do all of thatminus playing the flute! Hear the Steinway, and be uplifted by the majestic Requiem!
Mozart called the organ the “Queen of Instruments.” The awe-inspiring majesty of the Grand Organ in the Ballroom of Longwood Gardens will inspire and uplift youand transport you, with its “surround” sound, to the world of Bach, Vierne, Widor and Boëllmann. Under the fast and furious fingers (and feet) of Maestro Radu, and with the help of 10,000+ pipes, you will live an hour like no other. A unique experience!
