Anthony Pirollo attended the Philadelphia Musical Acadamy, where he studied with William DePasquale. He has toured international with various ensembles including "The Spring Piano Trio". Mr Pirollo was a solo cellist for the world premiere of Meridith Monk's opera Atlas. He is the Assistant Musical Director for the Bel Canto Opera Company and is a frequent performer of classical music. Anthony also enjoys arranging and composing.
As an avid supporter of worthy causes, Mr. Pirollo assisted the not-for-profit faith-based ensemble Gaudeamus, raise revenue through free-will offerings at concert performances, the sale of the CD's and direct contributions. Gaudeamus has held dozens of concerts throughout the Philadelphia region, produced six CD's (four Christmas and two inspirational) and raised in excess of $350,000. Motivated by gospel values, the Gaudeamus mission is to inspire audiences through music to contribute philanthropic support and to encourage other forms of community outreach.
